Couple Dansant, founded by visionary designers Magdalena Lenicka and Żaneta Mrowca, specializes in transforming vintage garments into one-of-a-kind pieces. Best friends for over 15 years, the duo first met while studying in London, where the idea for their brand was born. Living together in a shared apartment in Shoreditch, East London immersed in its vibrant vintage culture and inspired by their love of vintage shopping they began shaping their creative vision.

Both Magdalena and Żaneta have shared a passion for fashion since childhood and built early careers working as stylist and fashion buyers. Their experiences deepened their understanding of the industry and strengthened their dream of creating something of their own. In 2020, they turned that dream into reality by launching Couple Dansant, dedicated to upcycling vintage garments into contemporary designs.

By adorning jackets and coats with luxurious fur boas and tassels, the brand breathes new life into pre-loved clothing, ensuring each item tells its own story. For us, it was very important to create a brand that is slightly different one that is truly sustainable. We believe there is no point in bringing new products into the world when so many incredible pieces already exist. Instead, we recreate and reimagine what is already there, combining our love for vintage with our commitment to making fashion more sustainable and eco-friendly.

This has been our goal and is the mission we want to share. Although our products are upcycled, they go through a detailed and careful process, ensuring that every item looks and feels like new. This process is our craft and our passion born from our knowledge of vintage and our dedication to giving it a second life.
